WHAT: Exposure to over 25 different sports and recreational activities where athletes learn and compete in a community that pushes them to thrive, build confidence, practice independence, and create lasting friendships.

Rock the Wall in Muir Valley
Join us in Muir Valley to ROCK THE WALL! Located in Kentucky’s beautiful Red River Gorge, this exciting event will feature rock climbing with trained adaptive climbing staff from Catalyst sports, plus time to explore the valley’s hiking trails. We’re grateful for the support of Muir Valley’s JEDI grant for helping us put this event into action.

The Keystone Blind Association’s annual Thriving With Vision Loss Expo connects students, educators, specialists, and families with the tools, resources, and knowledge to support independence and quality of life. Attendees can explore opportunities in areas such as assistive and low vision technology, computer and smart devices, medical management, daily living skills, orientation and mobility, and more, all in one accessible and informative event.

Envision staff is headed to Spooky Nook Rec Center in Lancaster, PA to host one of many booths highlighting adapted recreational opportunities. Attendees can stop by to learn about adaptive sports and try out hands-on sport and recreation demos. The event will showcase a variety of adaptations for both visible and invisible disabilities and Envision is excited to learn more and make new connections in the adaptive sports and recreation field.

Camp is designed to meet the needs of blind and visually impaired athletes. In order to accommodate more blind athletes, we will be significantly restricting the number of sighted siblings again this year. Sighted siblings will only be allowed to attend camp through an application process. Families who would like a sibling to attend must contact us first, and then our staff will send an application for you to fill out. The Envision staff will vet all applicants and provide families with a decision.

Rowing Clinic with Three Rivers Rowing Association
We’re so excited to be teaming up with the Three Rivers Rowing Association for a day of rowing in Pittsburgh! Coaches and volunteers will teach athletes proper techniques on ERGs (rowing machines) and indoor tanks before transitioning to the river. 2025 Pittsburgh Marathon
We’re thrilled to share that we are returning as an official charity partner in the Pittsburgh Marathon’s Run for a Reason Program!
Our goal for 2025 is to raise $30,000 to support our mission and empower our athletes to Fear Less and Do More. By taking part, you’ll make a meaningful impact, helping us continue to provide sports and physical activities for individuals who are blind or visually impaired while also advocating for them in their communities and classrooms.

IMPORTANT NOTE: After receiving your confirmation email, please navigate to your dashboard and make sure that your account is connected to your Run for a Reason Charity. Once your account is linked to the Envision Team, you’ll receive a welcome email from Emma Wilson.
Age considerations:
5K: Open to all ages. Runners under 14 must have a partner (provided by Envision if needed)
Half Marathon: 16 and up only
Marathon: 18 and up only
Kids Marathon: allowed 1 adult partner (provided by Envision if needed)
HOW IT WORKS:
After registering and selecting “Envision Blind Sports” as your charity, you will receive your own fundraising page that you can personalize through Race Roster and use to collect donations. When you receive a confirmation email with your page dashboard, you must edit your profile to include Envision Blind Sports as your charity of choice. If you raise your fundraising minimum based on the chart below, your registration fee will be refunded and the balance will be donated to Envision.
